Creation of 3D model of building

This bachelor´s thesis deals with surveying buildings in campus of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Technical University in Brno and consequential 3D model elaboration in graphic program SketchUp. The result is generalised spatial model of the B and C buildings FAST VUT. The emphasis was the aesthetics and symmetry not measurement exactness.
3D model of Strejc church in Židlochovice

The subject of this diploma thesis was geodetic survey of the object Strejcův sbor in Židlochovice and its following post processing, including making of building drawings and 3D model. In the introduction is the thesis informing about the object of interest and locality. Following chapters describes data collecting, its post processing and drawings and 3D model creating. The results are used as a documentation for purpose of reconstruction.
Determination the spatial shape structures using laser scanning

The aim of this work is to create a 3D models of the structures of data acquired by laser scanning. The tracking data are elaborated by software Scene and models were created in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUP. The main output of this work are three models of the two structures.
Sketchup visualization of statrionery robots

Práce je zaměřena na vytvoření jednoduchého vizualizačního nástroje pro robotický manipulátor v softwaru SketchUp. Trojrozměrné rozhraní softwaru se používá k vizualizaci pohybu virtuálního robota pod kontrolou externí aplikace (zpočátku pod kontrolou reálného robota), která využívá sadu protokolů TCP / IP ke sledování polohy robota. Komunikace s projektem ve programu probíhá pomocí SketchUp API rozhraní, které umožnují komunikovat s projektem prostřednictvím zdrojového kódu Ruby. Hodnoty úhlů jednotlivých robotický kloubů jsou interpretovány ve formě parametrický pohyb virtuálního robota. Aplikace klient-server-klient je vytvořena v C++, C# a Ruby pomocí síťových soketů. Sokety se používají k navázání TCP spojení v lokální síti. Plugin Ruby, který poskytuje komunikační rozhraní, v aplikaci se chová jako první klient. Vlastní aplikace C # funguje jako druhý klient, nazývaný „řídicí klient“, poskytuje uživatelské rozhraní pro konfiguraci připojení k serveru a nastavení jednotlivých úhlů kloubů virtuálního robota. Komunikaci mezi dvěma klienty zajišťuje C++ TCP server (konzolová aplikace). Server získává data z řídicího klienta a předává je na stranu Ruby.
Design and Realization of Acoustic Treatment of Small Recording Studio

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of acoustic properties of an enclosed space, their detection and modification. The thesis examines the acoustic properties of a small enclosed space, which were determined by simulation using a virtual 3D model and subsequently verified by measurement. After finding out the properties, a substantial part was also devoted to their modification, where the task was to design the acoustic elements so that the resulting length of the reverberation time corresponds to the optimal values for a small recording studio. The design of the elements is followed by their construction, followed by a re-measurement of the space. Furthermore, the work summarizes the principles of modeling and simulation of 3D models.
Using of Photogrammetry for Documentation of Historical Measuring Instruments

This diploma thesis describes the design and implementation of appropriate procedure photogrammetry processing of technical documentation of selected historical artifacts gauges. This thesis deals with finding the most suitable evaluation of the calibration of the camera used for metric artifacts documentation, processing documentation and model visualization.
Sketchup Woodworking Plugin

Main goals of this work are to understand the SketchUp application, learn the basic tasks of fiberboard furniture design and the design and implementation of tools, which should increase efficacy of these tasks. Tools are created as plug-ins for SketchUp using its Ruby API. The text it self is focused on fundamentals of 3D computer graphics and use of  them in SkechtUp, fiberboard furniture design processes and the woodworking plug-in it self. Described tools are used for creation of  board models, their management through user interface and generation of edging for boards.

3D visualization of reconstructed settlements on web Abstract The object of this thesis was 3D reconstruction and visualization of historical urban objects in web environment. The thesis also deals with issues associated with the topic and creation of a web portal for publishing 3D reconstructions of different authors. A 3D reconstruction of historical appearance of the Theatre Square and part of Korso street in the city Uzhgorod was held. Modeling was conducted in the Trimble SketchUp software using historical pictures for photo textures of buildings. Web application has been developed using the tools of Google Earth API. The work results in a web application involving visualization of 3D models of buildings in Google Earth environment, virtual tours, tools for illumination control, placemarks with popup balloons, carrying multimedia and textual information about the objects and other visualization tools. Reconstruction of Prievidza city from old photographs

RECONSTRUCTION OF PRIEVIDZA CITY FROM OLD PHOTOGRAPHS Abstract The work focuses on creating and visualization of digital 3D reconstruction of the historic core of Prievidza as it looked in 1929. Old photographs and other archival materials were used as the basis for the work. The theoretical part describes the issue of creating a 3D model and presents the possibilities of presenting a 3D model on the Internet. In particular, the possibilities offered by programs for creating a virtual tour were analyzed. The practical part of the work focuses on the creating of a 3D model in SketchUp, visualization of this model in Lumion, the creation of outputs and a comparison of three freely available programs for creating a virtual tour - Marzipano, Orbix360 and Kuula. Kuula was chosen for creation of a virtual tour. The results of the work are photos of a 3D model, a flythrough video published on YouTube channel and an online virtual tour.
